In the mid-20th century, archaeologists performing excavations in the Ein Gedi area unearthed a Byzantine-era synagogue containing several ritual objects and artifacts. One of the discovered artifacts was a brass Menorah with a spherical design based on the candelabra found in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. Now you can add this unique piece of Jewish history to your Judaica collection with this exceptional Hanukkah Menorah from the Israel Museum collection. Brilliantly designed, this Hanukkah Menorah consists of a pane of glass painted like the Ein Gedi Menorah with nine brass candleholders extending from the top. A lovely representation of Jewish history, this Menorah will certainly enhance your Hanukkah celebrations.

This item includes a certificate of authenticity of the Israel Museum, Jerusalem and a small description of its historical background in English and Hebrew.

This item is suitable for use with standard Hanukkah candles.

Located in the heart of Jerusalem, the Israel Museum is a world-class institution housing thousands of items detailing the history of the Land of Israel and of the Jewish People. The largest cultural institution in Israel, the Museum's collection includes the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest biblical manuscripts in the world as well as artifacts of modern Judaica.
